Let’s Look At Stuff- 11/11
Join curators Aaron Harbour and Chris Grunder on a monthly jaunt to see art. We’ll go to art spaces big and small and talk about what we are seeing along the way. This is on Saturday November 11th from 12-3:30.
Never been to an art gallery? Don’t know the first thing about contemporary art? Find the whole thing intimidating? Never fear! We’re in this together – everyone will be encouraged to share their own perspective and ask questions as we get out there and see what the Bay Area art scene has to offer. Each month we’ll dive deep into a neighborhood so expect a little walking and 2-4 hours of adventuring.
For the November iteration of "Let’s look at stuff" we’ll be focusing on The Mission, a neighborhood with a celebrated history of alternative art spaces and artist run initiatives. We’ll meet at Little Paper Planes (855 Valencia Street) at noon and visit six to ten spaces depending on our collective pace.
"Let’s look at stuff" will cost $10 per person and you’ll get a sweet map expertly cartographed by Aaron.
