Eva Struble Print 3, Sodium Light
by Eva Struble
Little Paper Planes is pleased to introduce our October 2016 artist, Eva Struble and to offer four exclusive prints of her work.
Eva Struble paints the many ways we inhabit the world, touching on themes from social rituals to psychological spaces. Using the landscape as a site and a springboard, Struble explores labor, leisure, dreams and relationships in layered, cumulative images.
"The prints in this series explore a makeover of Struble’s domestic and everyday spaces in transformation. With influences that range from the Post-Impressionist Nabis painters to Japanese Uki-e prints, these large oil paintings bring focus to material with saturated color and icing-thick paint application and settings morph into overgrown, unknown landscapes and structures. Indefinite figures haunt these once mundane and familiar spaces as the paintings become stages for the psychology of human relationships and passages."
These prints are 8.5 x 11" and 13 x 19" and are offered individually. They are printed with Epson Ultra Chrome archival inks on Velvet Fine Art paper. The sizes reflect actual paper size, not image size. The second image is a detail shot. Each print is hand numbered, in an edition of 50, along with Eva’s signature on the back of each print. Each print also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity printed on the back as well. This print is exclusive to Little Paper Planes.
