Xochi Solis Print 2, When I see the future, I open my eyes
by Xochi Solis
Little Paper Planes is pleased to introduce our June 2014 artist, Xochi Solis, and to offer five exclusive prints of her work.
Austin-based Xochi Solis makes works that contains multitudes, which seems fitting for an artist who also is an arts administrator, thinking creatively for herself and others. Her paintings are full of wandering routes for the eye to take, retracing the gentle motion of a gesture before being brought up short by a section of collage, or a zing of neon color.
These prints are 8.5 x 11" and are offered individually. They are printed with Epson Ultra Chrome archival inks on Velvet Fine Art paper. The sizes reflect actual paper size, not image size. Each print is hand numbered, in an edition of 50, along with Xochi’s signature on the back of each print. Each print also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity printed on the back as well. This print is exclusive to Little Paper Planes.
**Original is gouache, house paint, acrylic, acetate, colored paper, naturally dyed paper and found images on museum board
