The inspiration for my artwork comes from nature observed outside my studio window, postcards of others’ artwork and personal photographs. All of these inspiration points share a connection to nature, memory and saturated color.

My artworks have embedded memory; each painting depicts a specific personal narrative. As contemplative markers of place and memory, I charge my artworks with saturated color and an atmosphere that can be quiet and reflective but also eerily disturbing.
