Harmen de Hoop is an artist based in Rotterdam, NL. His work deals with the notion of ‘place’ in the contemporary city, the behaviour of individuals or groups, and the conflicts of interests in public space. His work has been widely exhibitedthroughout Europe with many publications to his name. During the making of his anonymous and illegal interventions he hasbeen arrested 73 times.
