Brigid Mason Print 7- Mute Power
by Brigid Mason
Little Paper Planes is pleased to introduce our second April 2011 artist, Brigid Mason, and to offer eight exclusive prints of her work.
Los Angeles based painter Brigid Mason sifts through the images and objects of everyday life and, through a process that recalls the expertise of a curator and the obsession of a hoarder, discovers the absurd, the uncanny and the magical. Omnivorously collecting from pop culture, personal history, and the Internet, Mason paints on carefully prepared grounds with oils, investing significant time and thought in rendering the humble and seemingly silly. The result is paintings that elicit both a giggle and a shiver.
These prints are 8.5 x 11" and are offered individually. They are printed with Epson Ultra Chrome archival inks on Hahnemuhle German etching paper. The sizes reflect actual paper size, not image size.
Each print is hand numbered, in an edition of 50, along with Brigid’s signature printed in the border. Each print also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity printed on the back. This print is exclusive to Little Paper Planes.
