Little Paper Planes is pleased to introduce our second featured September artist, Jesse Kauppila, and to offer six exclusive prints of his work.  Jesse works in printmaking though uses a conceptual construct to let the medium expand into other realms from sound, video and collaborations with the viewer.

Each of the six plates for these prints was engraved while listening to the corresponding record of the "Anthology of American Folk Music."  These plates were engraved in such a way that they can be played on a turntable to create noise music.  To hear one of the records, go HERE

The prints are made using Engraving and Chine-Colle’ on Somerset and Echizen Shikibu Black Gampi paper.They come in an edition of 15, all signed and numbered.  The prints are 22" x 15" for the paper and 12" x 12" for the printed area.
