The Little Paper Planes store specialized in art prints during its first four years. Over time it became clear that the site’s natural progression was to involve producing exclusive prints by selected artists. As artists ourselves, we are drawn to tactility and to processes, which lead us to offer letterpress prints for our first 13 exclusive prints. Now we are looking at each artist we invite, and determining what form of printmaking suits his or her work best, from letterpress prints to silkscreens to archival digital prints. Each month we will feature an artist and exclusive print. Also, in July 2009 we launched our first book series, a family of 8 artist books. Look for more Little Paper Planes book projects on the horizon too!
