Looking Forward

New Years is one of my all time favorite holidays.  What is more glamorous than holiday traditions/celebrations that go hand in hand with glitter, sparkles, sequins, and lights? What I really love, aside from the decadence, is the overarching sense of positivity. There’s a surge of energy and motivation that comes along with assessing the past year, reminiscing on accomplishments and memories and then looking forward. It’s about writing down goals or just thinking about the amazing things that could happen, and overall feeling at peace with the unknown. Here’s to 2012 and hoping that the same gusto on New Years night shines on through out the year.
