The West
I don’t know what it is, but I’ve always been attracted to the west. I often wonder where that stems from and as I grow older I’m still pulled in by the majesty of the mountain ranges and the hope that the ocean seems to bring. Growing up on the prairies I was always in awe of the Rocky Mountains and the land beyond them. When it comes to art and design I notice that pull as well; from a Native American motif to the never-ending feeling of the Pacific Ocean in a photograph. There is an influence that is both nostalgic yet new. Comforting yet exciting. The west is my home, it’s my warm blanket, it’s my dream.
