Back To School
For some, going back to school means excitement, reuniting with friends and continuing studies of loved subjects. The turn of Summer into Autumn can also carry a bittersweet ending of free time, sunny days and adventures into the wild (whatever that may be for you). The cycles of the seasons and our cultural institutions are a deep part of our sense of time, our place in the world and our callings to move either outward in exploration and interaction or inward towards our deeper aspects. School, learning, education is not just formal classes at universities, but the pulling in and integration of those things in life that piece together the bigger picture, take notice of the beauty of minutiae and enrich our hearts and minds with the breathtaking complexity of this Universe in which we live.

In honor of education of all forms, the tools we use to hone our chosen path and craft and in acknowledgement of the fascinating and mysterious that can't help but beckon our curiosity, I offer you a selection of art and ephemera from the LPP shop. We begin with the Maze Heart Shirt by No Star to lead you on your path of heart because some good advice from Alyssa Nassner's brilliant print is to Choose Your Own Path. If you need a little sound advice check out Pikaland's Good To Know Zines, or take a listen from The Learning Tree Print by Yukako Ezoe. Engross yourself in the natural world in Brainstorm's Ocean Print, Sharks Keep Moving's Phases of the Moon Button Pack and Louise Chen's Radiowaves Print. Get bookish with William Edmonds' Exclusive Print 4, crafty with Anthony Zinonos' DIY Collage Kits and feel the repercussions of some seriously arty geometry in Brent Wadden's Exclusive Print 6. For those a little blue about the change of season and situation, sport a little humor in the form of old school floppy disks and cassette tapes on No Star's Black to the Future Shirt. And there's no better way to take a little summer back to school with you than by toting your supplies in Julia Potts' Animal Beach Hut Tote Bag.
