My work is focused on creating objects that help me understand where I am in the world: personally, mentally, and physically. My maps and photographs are used as the building blocks for another place; a curated landscape made out of paper that is fragile and temporary. I also tend to revisit the significance of certain landforms: mountains, lakes, islands, and rivers.

This newest body of work grew out of hibernation, a meditation on winter. I fell in love with using the stars and constellations to construct my own mountains. To me they are icebergs, icons of this winter state of mind, floating in these vast dark oceans.
