Kelly Lynn Jones

Kelly Lynn Jones is an artist living in SF where she received her MFA in 2010 from the California College of Arts and has exhibited in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Los Angeles, Austin, Detroit, New York, Portland, OR., San Diego, and Bristol, England. You can see her work at

She started Little Paper Planes in 2004.  It started off initially as an online shop. With this shop Jones sought to create a platform from which she and her friends, who had just graduated from art school, could present and sell their work to a wider audience. However, as the number of artist-participants grew over time, it became clear that Little Paper Planes had grown up to become a broad-ranging community, composed of both the circle of artists themselves, as well the people who love and support their art.

Since the birth of her son Hunter in January 2016 she has been thinking about the future of the arts and children.  She is so excited to start teaching an After School Arts program in early 2018. Kelly will be working alongside LPP's Dana Fernie. Kelly's mom who is a retired elementary school teacher and principle is also her mentor to create a great arts program!
