Hillary Wiedemann

Hillary Wiedemann is a Chicago based multi-media artist. Using glass, light,
reflective/refractive materials, and audio, her work explores the subtle differencesbetween passive and active states of perception, and the translation of light intoobject and experience. She received an MFA in sculpture from California College ofthe Arts, and a BFA in glass from Rhode Island School of Design. She has exhibitedher work in Chicago, the San Francisco Bay Area; Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Belgiumand Iceland. A current resident at Hatch Projects at the Chicago Artists Coalition, shehas also been a resident at ACRE (Chicago/Wisconsin) and SÍM (Iceland).
