Karina Manarin is a fiber artist based out of Phoenix, Arizona. She received her BFA in Fibers from Arizona State University in 2007. Initially working on large scale screen printed works she transitioned into using her knowledge of surface design and textiles into wearable art and accessories. She uses techniques and processes usually reserved for fine arts into everyday pieces such as the T-Shirt. Inspired by naturally occurring patterns and textures she creates illustrations, prints and dye patterns which reflect this in a simplified modern way.
