Piero Passacantando

Piero Passacantando is a painter and social practitioner. Recently, he participated to Art in Odd Places and the Dumbo Arts Festival in NYC. In the summer of 2012 he parttook to Decompression Camp, a residency program at the Corniolo Art Platform, Corniolo, Italy. In 2011, he was a Create Change Fellow at the Laundromat Project based in Harlem, NYC. In 2010, Piero received a Fulbright grant to research Thangka in Kathmandu, Nepal. He has an MFA from the California College of the Arts, San Francisco/Oakland, Califonia, and a BFA from the Corcoran College of Art and Design, Washington DC. He has exhibited both nationally and internationally He currently lives and works in Harlem.
