Eric Martin is a Bay area artist. The work here isassembled from wood and injection-molded plastic stakes, dimensional furring and decking, laboratory glass, and ornamental wood. Linear geometric elements recur in crystalline regions, exhibiting a deteriorated regularity characteristic of the natural world. I plan to cut the initial structure into parts such that natural deterioration progresses into dismantling.
