Gilbert Ford

Gilbert Ford was born and raised in Jackson, MS into a family of professional photographers. Instead of taking up the camera, he moved to New York to attend Pratt, receiving a BFA in communication design in 2000. He worked part time for a company illustrating and designing children's products until 2007 when he left to devote more of his time to his illustration work. His illustrations have appeared in books, magazines, newspapers, toys, billboards and advertisements. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
